HOW LONG WILL THE LIGHTS LAST PER CHARGE?
When fully charged the lights will last approximately 4 hours on high power, 8 hours on low power, or 14 hours on blinking before needing to be charged. We recommend simply leaving the Knuckle Lights in the charging dock between uses so that they are always fully charged and ready to go when you are!
ARE KNUCKLE LIGHTS WATER RESISTANT? CAN I WEAR THEM IN THE RAIN AND OTHER CONDITIONS?
Yes! Knuckle Lights are IPX-6 WATERPROOF, which means they are completely sealed. The units can be used in any type of weather and will not leak or fail.
WHERE EXACTLY DO YOU WEAR THEM ON YOUR HANDS?
Knuckle Lights are designed to be worn on the front of your hands (across your knuckles), the same area on your fingers that you would wear a ring.
ARE KNUCKLE LIGHTS TRULY HANDS FREE? CAN I CARRY A WATER BOTTLE OR MY DOG’S LEASH?
Yes! Each unit straps comfortably to your hand with a soft silicone strap, which can be adjusted so that they lights simply slip on and off, but also stay snug on your hands. Your hands are totally free and you can hold or grasp anything else you may need: water bottles, leashes, pepper stray, etc.
No! Knuckle Lights were designed with WIDE flood beams, so they put out a broad light in all directions, giving off a bright, even light. Compare this to most flashlights and headlamps that emit a SPOT beam, where you actually see a dot of light bouncing around on the ground in front of you with every step. You don’t get that with Knuckle Lights; you get a smooth, even level of light that moves with the natural motion of your arms.
ARE KNUCKLE LIGHTS GUARANTEED? WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE THEM?
Knuckle Lights are guaranteed for 5 years against any defects in materials or manufacture. We also offer a 90-day money back guarantee: if you are unsatisfied with the product for any reason, simply return it to us within 90 days for a full refund.
I AM PARTICIPATING IN AN OVERNIGHT RELAY, ARE KNUCKLE LIGHTS AN APPROVED LIGHTING DEVICE?
Yes! All overnight relays require a headlamp or flashlight during certain periods of the race. Knuckle Lights are basically a reconfigured flashlight and meet the safety requirements of all of the relays, including Hood to Coast and Ragnar events.
